Does anybody have an easy way to remember basic blackjack strategy? (Answers: 6) (Comments: 0)

I have been trying to memorize basic blackjack strategy for 2 months and when I deal out the cards at home I get around 75% right. I have copied the information in a notebook and studied and made short fragments of words like: I have : 11 - double down on 2-10 hit on A and am still having trouble recalling the information at the table and when at home practicing. Any ideas please?

I know using the basic blackjack strategy at a casino the house still has a slight advantage and will mathematically always win in the long run. But can a player win in the short run? For example, what if I went to a casino with $1000 with an objective to win only half of that and leave with $500 in winnings. How possible and how long would it take to achieve that goal assuming I play perfect blackjack and play 15 or 25 dollar hands.
